Welcome to Speedworld RC Flyers!

We are a club that enjoys building and flying radio contolled model aircraft. Our club airport is located a few miles northwest of Surprise, AZ. We are part of the former Speedworld complex and have been active there since 1986.
If you have an interest in model airplanes, come out to our airfield and check us out. Visitors are always welcome. Please view the About Us page on this web site for general club information, including membership.

What's New . . .

  • Club President Bob Baratko and his wife, Linda, are having their Christmas Open House on Dec. 19th at 7pm for club members and family. Their home address is 13246 West Fargo Drive, Surprise, 85374. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
  • If you missed the Swap Meet, you missed some really good deals ranging from complete airplanes to nearly every kind of part used in our hobby.
  • Our Club voted by a huge margin to continue hosting racing events. The first event of the 2015 season is the 21st Annual Phoenix Winterfest Q500 Race on Jan 17 and 18, 2015. See the Event Flyer for more information.
  • Our gate lock and chain disappeared while members were flying on Saturday. If you open the gate, please lock the chain to the gatepost and roll the combination numbers. The lock and chain have been replaced and the combination remains unchanged.
  • Check out the For Sale page occasionally...might see a plane you need or you could list a plane for sale...it's easy.
  • We have updated membership forms, one for new members and one for current members. You can view and/or download them from the About Us page in the Membership section.
